It’s easy to be drawn in by Olinda’s beauty; Brás is certainly no match for her. Is Brás a gull, an unfortunate soul, a victim? will recognize Olinda. As Olinda/Iemajá says, it’s the ”living in the moment” that shows others what we want. Let's talk about the art. As Brás has become better defined, Jorge has lost all definiton. In the dream chapter, Brás explains life to his son, saying "Life is like a book, son. Olinda says, ”My job won’t tell you who I am. Bá and Moon seem to think the answer to every question is (or could be) yes. I haven't read or seen anything I haven't liked from them.
