from what I read 44s are slighly more compact and louder and deeper then 40s but i could be mistaken. but my 40 series is plenty loud and aggressive for me.
The 10 series has a nice deep sound. The videos I've seen for the 10 series seem like it's gonna be obnoxiously loud.

To me at WOT it is the best sounding muffler around.
So other then the volume, can you tell much differance in the mufflers, tone wise? I would go with a 40 like gonefishin did.

The 10 series is not as loud as straight pipes and has the flowmaster growl.
Just can't justify cutting off this 40 series after only 1500 miles.
