I have to buy a new rifle in front of me. The aluminium receiver is a one-piece affair; unlike the real thing that can be split to separate the upper and lower portions, the CO2 model won’t split. Change it back to .223. I can’t wait until Sig gets the 300 BLK conversions to market.. thank you woolly for your input.
Absolutely love this rifle!!
I was lucky enough to find them at Kapolei Walmart.
I wish I read this before I ordered a Surefire muzzle brake for my MCX 300blk … damn it all.. Rifle rods are great things … Oh, Hi honey, I didn’t hear you come in. It isn’t a deal breaker but it’s a design feature I really liked on the MPX. If your purpose is just having fun plinking in the back yard then go with the BBs. Another way to prevent getting this page in the future is to use Privacy Pass.
As the MCX’s recoil system is completely contained within the upper receiver there’s no need for a buffer tube assembly. Why a 1/2 star reliability knock for the crap reloads? The only things I can find to complain about is that there isnt an easy solution to adding a sling and on the plastic parts they didn't smooth down where they cut the parts off of the sprue. I have a Jewell in my Colt LE6920 and don’t like it.
I’m disappointed by the lack of ambi bolt controls, and the fact that the charging handle isn’t interchangeable with standard AR parts. Yes, people will bug me about counting ounces on an eight pound rifle, but if you’re not counting ounces, you’re going to be crying over pounds. (l.) The two-position (suppressed, unsuppressed) gas block is from the MCX. He said, “think of it as Modular Carbine X-tra.” The SIG Virtus has features that one would not find in some custom AR platforms that cost twice as much. Unless you will be in a 10 mag or more firefight, you dont need a heavy barrel of any type, m4 cut or not. SIG MCX upper receiver groups can be used on most AR-15 lower receivers with the addition of a lower receiver adapter kit that is included with most MCX Virtus upper receiver packages. My biggest concern: would SIG translate the mil spec masterpiece into a useful civilian semi-auto rifle? Fantastic air rifle. Top quality banknotes, Your email address will not be published. Has anyone gotten theirs with the two barrel option?
