At the end of season 2, Dean makes a deal to save Sam’s life and is given a year before he’s mauled and sent to the pit. Never realized I hate it. Why it's on this list: This is the episode where Ellen and Jo Harevelle die, Dean is attacked by a Hell Hound and Jo attempts to save him but ends up getting her self injured severely. Whatever Crowley Wants, Crowley Gets, and Yes Little Man, Crowley Wants You, Mr. Crowley and Mr. Dean….I find it interesting that we are getting the old Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story flowing in both directions at once, Vote Crowley, the Milton Friedman of the New Age of Hell. Crowley nervously tells them the burning bones story is a myth; Bobby responds by relating what happened to the crossroads demon he interrogated and killed in his basement earlier. However, Naomi shows up to stop him. When the Winchesters thought they finally had a real ally in Rowena, she and her demons lost the one person they needed the most at that time. Based on Becky's tip, the Winchesters try to find him in order to use the Colt against Lucifer.
However, Amara steps behind Crowley and hits him in the back of the head with a blunt object, Crowley stumbles and then turns around to face Amara. These deaths include making Tommy Collins explode and boiling Jenny Klein in her oven. This part of the story gave Sam and Dean a way to kill Abbadon, The First Blade. Sam and Dean learn that Magnus was once the MoL's spellmaster and manage to convince him to let them into his lair, but Crowley is left behind.
Crowley takes the First blade out of his jacket pocket and places it in Dean's hand.
She then flings him into the wall, pinning him there. She insults Crowley and tells him she will soon replace him. Afterwards, Crowley uses a knife to dig out the bullet, annoyed that Sam and Dean won't help him. Every new piece of information showed the demons getting worse. Ramiel, however, refused the crown and offered Crowley the kingship, which he quickly accepted. He reveals there is no way for Sam to meet with Lucifer in the Cage, but that there may be another way, possibly to be found in the Book of the Damned. Sometime later, Crowley walking through the halls, towards Amara’s room. He succeeds and Lilith isn’t the only demon that escapes. However, knowing Sam and Dean will likely betray and try to kill him, Crowley steals the Blade from them until such time that they track down Abaddon and use it to kill her.
Crowley then offers to do it if they remove the chains and set him free. When Kevin didn’t want to cooperate, he tortured the angel Samandriel to find the names of other prophets, capture them, and use them as leverage when torturing Kevin. At the ruins of Singer Salvage Yard, Sam shows Crowley the demon tablet to prove he has it while Crowley shows them the angel tablet.
They were supposed to be protected. Bobby shoots him twice, but Crowley persists with the bargaining, promising to release Bobby from the deal as soon as Death is located. He reveals the history of the Knights of Hell, how he trained them, and how the Mark of Cain allowed him to wield the first blade. Bobby then asks Crowley to follow through on the deal they made in 5.20 The Devil You Know, the return of Bobby's soul following the prevention of the Apocalypse. Bobby offers him a drink, but Crowley declines on the grounds that Bobby does not have his favorite scotch. Sam does and Crowley is left as Dean takes a collapsing Sam outside.
It interests Crowley as it reveals that there are more Word of God tablets than just the ones on leviathans and demons. Shortly before that, Chuck/God told Sam and Dean “Welcome to the end” and snapped his fingers. [6], Although his powers and abilities have increased, he's still weaker than angels and relies on his knowledge of Enochian sigils and experience to defend himself against one.[7].
Crowley surprises a newly teenage Amara in her room as she returns from a "midnight snack". The other demon attacks, but Crowley kills him as well. Meg's insinuation that Crowley would seek revenge on Castiel if he learned that Castiel is alive and helpless, implies that Crowley still has a grudge against Castiel for the latter's betrayal. Kip states that he hates acting like Crowley, whom he calls a "ponce-y son of a bitch," and threatens to kill everyone in the room if Sam doesn't agree to the deal. But Jackson sells his partner out to Crowley who arrives just in time to save the wayward demon from being killed by Dean Winchester.
Back in Hell, Rowena cuts and beats herself and tells Crowley that Dean did this to her in hope of Crowley retaliating. Jenna and Dean enter the house to find Crowley drinking tea. He wanted more and, because of his myopic vision, he pitted family against each other, one bond that fans hold sacrosanct in this show. Rowena is revealed to be the new Queen of Hell, having taken the throne after sacrificing her life to save the world. Dean encounters another angel Zachariah who implores Dean to keep hunting after he nearly gave it up when learning Alastair ... Capturing Crowley, Dean stops Sam from completing the trials when he learns it will kill his brother. Crowley is summoned by Sam and Dean who clue him in on their plan to take out Dick Roman.
After escaping Castiel and possessing a suburban housewife, Crowley plans on murdering the people in her home so he can call his minions. At a barn in Ohio, Crowley refuses to turn over the First Blade until they have Cain where they want him.
Crowley laughs as Lucifer struggles to get up. He says that he tried to show demons a new, better way, and they did not respond well.
Eventually, Dean is willing to give Crowley a chance, and together he and Crowley infiltrate Niveus Pharmaceuticals to capture the Horsemens' "handler," a demon called Brady. Crowley goes to walk out of the room while Amara sits on the bed with her back to him, looking at her laptop.
Understanding Your Rebellious Teen. Next was also Ramiel, who came after Cain but was killed. He quickly realizes that Rowena is looking for something else from him and upon Rowena asking about the Winchesters, Crowley cuts her off and tells her the Winchesters are his buisness to handle and he is not going to kill them. Crowley: I don't need you to fight my battles for me, Moose. Crowley happily offers his blood for the weapon, but only after they've gathered all the other components for fear of his blood falling in the wrong hands. Lucifer asks Crowley if he knows about any Hand of God objects; when Crowley tells him he doesn't, Lucifer believes him and lets him continue with his task. Crowley's favorite drink is "Craig. Crowley picks up the bones and puts them in a large black leather bag. Crowley leaves voluntarily. They were the highest class of demons and the absolute worst. At this point Gavin manifests.
He tells him the only reason he's alive is because he allows it, and to give a message to his mother, "You tell that ginger whore that I gave her a chance to walk away and she spat in my face.
Crowley indicates a previous sexual relationship between the two and realizes that the tablet is indeed gone and that Castiel has it. Castiel and Belphegor make their way to Lilith's Chamber in Hell and recover the horn. He tells Sam he wants the "Crowley Deal," in which he would share information and offer aid from time to time in exchange for the Winchesters staying out of the affairs of demonkind.
Meanwhile, Castiel tries to convince Crowley to let them go, but he refuses to reveal their location. Crowley reveals that Magnus was a rogue member who he had been trying to track down but lost track of. Bobby comments that he looks like "hammered crap," and asks him about being "the Big Kahuna" in Hell.
The demon explains that her "boss" holds the contract instead of her and that he won't let Dean out of it because he wants Dean's soul to go to Hell.
Sam and Dean, with Jo's help, kill Crowley's demon gate guards and break into the building, cutting off the power. I know what I am. This was all part of Azazel's grand plan.

Crowley continues the torture personally to get what he can out of the angel who speaks in Enochian which Crowley can understand. He demands that she reveal Crowley's real name from the time that he was human. In the crypt, Crowley meets the angel Naomi who is also looking for the tablet. Crowley passes the bowl back to Sam. As Crowley watches, Dean displays immunity to Abaddon's powers and telekinesis, allowing him to gain the upper hand and kill Abaddon. The other times his eyes turned red were when he possessed Linda Tran in 8.02 What's Up, Tiger Mommy?, André Develin in 9.16 Blade Runners, and Marnie in 11.01 Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire. Crowley gets annoyed with Samandriel's various babbling until he starts talking about an angel tablet which is apparently hardwired into all angels. He claimed his preferred meatsuit belonged to a "moderately successful New York literary agent.
He finally admits that Sam and Brady have "history." He says that they need to focus their attention on Rowena.
Meg proves to be no match for Crowley, but her actions allow Sam, Dean and Castiel time to escape, Castiel with the angel tablet. Crowley manages to throw Dean off of him and abandons Linda as a cloud of red smoke and reenters his usual meatsuit which is in a nearby room. He owns an Apple iPhone and is able to acquire (through his position as King of the Crossroads) Death's scythe, which Death claims he lost.
